Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Boulder Executive Club?

The Boulder Executive Club is group of business people that meet for breakfast every other week for networking, providing each other with new business leads, camaraderie and just plain fun. This is a very active organization. We have no community service activities; we exist only to help each other make more money.

How does it work?

Only one business or professional member is allowed from a particular category; e.g. one car dealer, one banker, one real estate agent, one mortgage lender, etc. Each meeting, every member gets a chance to share current information about his or her business, products or services; lovingly referred to as “one minute commercials.” Members carry a business card holder with the business cards of every other member of the club with the goal of providing leads for each other.

When and where do you meet?

Our regular networking meetings are held every other Wednesday morning currently 8:00am to 9:00am. When we are in full membership 7:30 am to 8:45 am every week. Location is yet to be determined.

Members are required to attend this morning meeting in order to get to know each other and the businesses we represent better. From time to time we have other networking and social events throughout the year; lunch meetings, afternoon coffee, dinners and business retreats. These are optional, but everyone is encouraged to attend. The better we know each other and the businesses we represent, the better able we are to effectively promote each other.

Why meet in the morning?

An early meeting, which wraps up before the workday starts, works best for most executive’s schedules. Currently meeting on Friday allows you to end the week on a positive note and prepares you to start the next week with new business opportunities.

What does it cost?

Membership costs $150.

Can anybody join?

Well, yes and no. As mentioned earlier, only one representative from each business category is allowed. Also, everyone in the group needs to be comfortable with representing you and your business. This is a network of business professionals and we want all members to have excellent character, business ethics and reputation. Also, this club does not allow businesses that depend on multilevel marketing.

What’s the bottom line for me?

You are welcome to check it out before joining. In fact, you must attend 3 meetings before the club votes to grant membership. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and see if it is a mutually good fit. You pay only for your breakfast. If you would like to attend a meeting, please contact us by contacting Gary Strohm, President, 303-775-9331, email garycstrohm@msn.com.
